Rep. Salvador Belaro Jr., 1ANG  Edukasyon partylist and assistant majority leader, has urged the Department of Labor and Employment to enhance  to its protection measures and procedures for the protection of Filipino migrant workers wherever they may be deployed.

He said, Congress can, for its part, network with legislators of ASEAN and present the Philippines’ migrant worker laws as a model piece of national legislation.

TO prevent a repeat of Marawi City’s six-months battle against terrorism, Vice President Leonora Robredo called for greater opportunities for the “content-hungry” youth, whose deep exposure to technology can be used to include them as productive citizens of this country.

Following a major accident at the MRT3 north-bound lane at Ayala, where a woman fainted at the rail and one train severed her hand, prompted two partylists congressmen to ask the government to cover her hospitalization and rehabilitation, give her prosthetic device and cover for her lost income during rehabilitation.
