Jericho Rosales partners with Romnick Sarmenta in new ABS-CBN teledrama

By Boy Villasanta

When it rains, it pours.

At least for prizewinning actors Jericho Rosales and Romnick Sarmenta.

Aside from his 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “Siargao,” a foray into the fascinating island in the south which he co-stars with Erich Gonzales and Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Jericho is set to commence his television work for a new teleserye for ABS-CBN, tentatively titled “Love Will Lead You Back.”

Rosales has just returned from Siargao from an almost month’s-long engagement. Echo was really excited but at the same time homesick during the shoots because he wanted…

Lady producer’s death kept under wraps in deferrence to her wish for privacy

By Boy Villasanta

A lady film producer’s passing was kept hush hush to the public recently so as not to invite frenzy and fiesta mood, and more importantly, to keep the privacy of the family among showbiz folks.

Bong Revilla’s sis celebrates birthday in his detention cell

By Boy Villasanta

It’s next to impossible to secure a permit from authorities to visit Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame. Add to that, attempts to phone patch with a visitor inside his cell is absolutely impossible as cell phones are banned inside.

It was Bong’s sis Andrea Bautista-Ynares’ birthday Sunday afternoon but we didn’t have the official pass to be able to greet her and him.

But according to veteran entertainment writer Alice Vergara, the actor promised that we’d be allowed to meet up with…
