Is Mahmud Ahmad the last terrorist in Marawi?

Much as the citizenry would like to jubilate over the death of Malaysian terrorist, Mahmud Ahmad, the supposed financier of Omar Maute and Isnilon Hapilon, the designated emir of ISIS in the country had it succeeded in completely capturing Marawi City and installing its caliphate there, people are still asking, is he the last terrorist really?

With Marawi City having just been liberated from terrorists this week, the International Bazaar Foundation—which holds it day-long annual Christmas bazaar that sell the best products from here and  around the world—is seriously considering the rehabilitation of Marawi City as one of its recipients from the bazaar proceeds.

Small Marawi reconstruction bonds pushed

Rep. Ron Salo, Kabayan partylist and assistant majority leader, is pushing for the issuance of reconstruction bonds for Marawi in small and large denominations so that overseas Filipinos and the middle class can invest, instead of the government shouldering the entire cost through the national budget.

 

The budget requirements for rebuilding Marawi are simply too big to be loaded on the national budget in one or few tranches.

Legislator wants ML stayed in Mindanao even with Marawi freed from terrorists

REP. Neil Abayon, Aangat Tayo partylist and assistant minority leader, has asked the Martial Law be maintained in Mindanao to prevent the remnants of the Maute Group and ISIS elements allied with Isnilon Hapilon neutralized for good in the south.
