Fintech agreement forged between Philippines, Singapore

To ensure a steady migration of Philippine businesses to the digital space, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Monetary Authority of Singapore signed a FinTech Cooperation Agreement to promote innovation in the financial services in their respective markets.

The BSP-MAS CA was signed at the sidelines of the 2nd Singapore FinTech Festival held in Singapore last November 13-17.

Task Force versus red tape, corruption urged for submarine cable

Rep. Bernadette Herrera-Dy of Bagong Henerasyon partylist and chairman of the House commmittee on public information, is asking President Duterte to create, via executive order, a Task Force Jupiter that would ensure the full cooperation, remove red tape and corruption to ensure that the Philippines commitment on submarine cable is delivered.
