What would a movie of James Reid and Nadine Lustre be like if Maricel Soriano and Aga Muhlach star with them?

This is a real case of veteran stars joining hands with new stars for a movie that would surely be a blockbuster, considering their fan bases.

It would surely be a powerhouse cast and an exciting film to watch because of a mix of two generations of stars. Apart from that, a substantial viewing fare would treat the public because the stars especially the more seniors are award-winning thespians.

Walk of Fame for the late Isabel Granada

For her invaluable contributions to the progress and development of the local entertainment industry as a youth idol and as an enterprising individual, the Walk of Fame project today (Nov. 21) at the illustrious Eastwood will honor the late Isabel Granada. 

Federico Moreno, the son of the late Master Showman German Moreno and the concurrent leader of the advocacy, will bestow the honor tomorrow at 6 pm at the Eastwood Walk of Fame to the family of the late actress.

Deficit widens in October by $368 Million

The cumulative balance of payment deficit widened in October by $368 million (at $1.735 billion) compared to the previous month ($1.367 billion) and this could worsen as the country imports more goods this coming Yuletide season. 

This level of deficit is even higher than September 2016 of $1.367 billion and October 2016 of $1.465 billion. 

The BOP position for the first ten months of 2017 posted a deficit of US$1.735 billion, a reversal from the US$1.465 billion surplus recorded in the same period last year.

Herbert rejects demolition of Amoranto Stadium

To upgrade the sports facilities and socio-cultural flairs inside the Amoranto Stadium along Roces Avenue, the Quezon City Government is improving and redeveloping the amenities of the so-called velodrome.

This, in order for the city to maintain its billing as the premier entertainment city in the country, City of Stars notwithstanding, such that various structures will still be constructed and enhanced to fit the description.

Mental health bill to be passed in Q1 of 2018

With the passage of the House on third (final) reading Monday (Nov. 20), the Comprehensive Mental Health Bill, HB 6452, would likely be passed on the first quarter of 2018.

This was the projection of Rep. Ron Salo, Kabayan Partylist and assistant majority leader, as he explained that the bill is a consolidation of 10 measures on mental health, including HB1040, which he filed. HB 6452 seeks to address the lack of a law to specifically address the mental health of Filipinos through a comprehensive program.
