IT Solutions For PH’s Real Estate

Despite fears of a so-called "bubble burst," the real estate sector in the Philippines has seen an upward trend in the last 12 months, with an 11-percent growth in 2015.

Tech experts believe that the real estate sector now needs to catch up with the growing trend of digitalization in the Philippines in order to maintain a robust growth, and offset the possibility of a “bubble burst.”

"Most industries have greatly shifted or increased their digital and social media marketing and promotion expenses. Technology, I believe, is now playing a big role in the property industry," GadgetPilipinas Giancarlo…

WikiPangako keeps track of politicos’ promises
Ernest Calayag, founder of WIkiPangako

Promises. Promises. And more promises.

Now, it seems giving endless promises has become the norm – and the bane – of the Philippine political spectrum, especially during elections.

Every three years, and sometimes even before that, politicians from the municipal to the national level try to woo and win over voters by promising them jobs, electricity, water, housing — nearly everything under the sun that they can think of.

From “gut feeling” to international start-up

All budding start-up creators know that investment – in short, money – is a vital component of their success as a venture. Dennis Ng, Mober's founder.

Just owning and maintaining a delivery vehicle can eat up into your budget, and there remains the problem of monitoring your goods to ensure that it goes to their rightful destination.

No worries, however. There’s an answer…

“Hero” in Online Travel

Traveling around the Philippines – especially by land – can be irresistibly appealing. But then it could also be a hassle, especially during holiday seasons such as Christmas or Holy Week, where bus passengers going to the provinces are faced with the nightmare of having to wait long lines, sometimes becoming “chance passengers” due to fully-booked trips. That’s certainly not a good starter for that dream adventure you’ve been waiting for.

Travel start-up Biyaheroes.com wants to erase that nightmarish scene – in their own words, by starting a “travel revolution” through making public transport better and more efficient for everyone.…
