The business processing outsourcing (BPO) industry is currently one of the Philippines’ most lucrative and most promising business sectors. Yet several factors still affect the growth of the Philippines’ BPO sector, foremost among them the lack of infrastructure and slow Internet connectivity.

However, for IT experts Mark Anthony Lapuz and Vince Loremia, the whole current BPO system in the country is inefficient. The primary reason: foreign companies currently operating in the Philippines are based on large, long-term contracts with huge brick-and-mortar companies.

Folding Bikes For Pinoys

Commuting or travelling in Metro Manila is definitely not something one looks forward to. Heavy traffic, long queues on MRT stations, delayed MRT/LRT trains, and packed buses and jeepneys.

Water is mankind’s most precious need and resource. Yet, people are wasting millions and millions of gallons a year.

In the Philippines, an estimated P63-billion worth of water is lost and wasted every year.

In a country about to experience the full force of the El Niño phenomenon, optimization of water resources must the top priority.
