Should he stay or should he go?

This is the question that Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go is trying to answer and reflect on as clamors for him to join the Senate race in 2019 continued to snowball.

In a message to Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, Go thanked her for support and backing but reiterated that it’s still “too early” to talk about his joining politics.

“I am humbled by the endorsement of our beloved City Mayor Inday Sara. The Dutertes, the father, the daughter are my inspiration and the example of being a true public servant,” Go, a long-time aide of President Duterte said.

Go said the Dutertes are his inspiration and he is grateful to the President’s daughter for her kind words.

The Davao mayor  said she knew Go since she was young and praised the man’s loyalty to the President for whom he worked for decades.

Solar Philippines is currently the country’s – and Southeast Asia’s – largest solar-energy company. Founded in August 2013 by Leandro Leviste, son of Senator Loren Legarda, the energy firm aims to deliver low-cost, reliable electricity to rural areas of the Philippines.

Since its inception, Solar Philippines has embarked on building some of the largest solar farms in the country.

Among these is the 63-MW solar farm in Calatagan, Batangas, which according to the company has the capacity to supply the power needs of the entire western Batangas region.

In August 2017, Solar Philippines inaugurated its solar panel factory in Sto. Tomas, Batangas, the first of its kind in the country.

The factory can produce a total of 2.5 million solar panels a year, establishing the Philippines as a player in the renewable energy revolution around the world.

In past days, these operators had launched a series of protests and strikes across the country.

They claim that the government’s PUV modernization plan was “too…
