RCBC Bankard reintroduces Diamond Platinum Mastercard


RCBC Bankard Services Corporation (RBSC), the credit card servicing entity of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) is set to reintroduce their RCBC Bankard Diamond Platinum Mastercard to the public. 

This upgrade involves enhanced features, giving its cardholders greater value and a new beneficiary for the Diamond Cares Program; a significant component of the RCBC Bankard Diamond Mastercard.

The relaunched RCBC Bankard Diamond Mastercard carries with it strong advantages for its cardholders including a proprietary budget management tool, Spend Monitor, which allows cardholders to manage their finances better by allowing them to set their own budget.

LBP offers easy loans for farmers, others

The Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) has opened new lending facilities for farmers, fisherfolk, and inventors along with small and micro entrepreneurs, especially in remote or unserved areas.

One of the new facility called Empowering Barangays in Remote Areas through Credit and Enterprise (EMBRACE) has an initial fund of P1 billion and is designed to serve those in remote areas compliance with President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive to capacitate small and medium enterprises.

PH target growth on track with 7.1 percent GDP increase in Q3

THE gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 7.1 percent in the third quarter of 2016, a carryover from the growth path of the previous administration, owing to the strong performance of manufacturing, trade and real estate, renting and business activities.

The Philippine Statistics Authority, which now officially assumes the functions of the National Economic and Development Authority, is optimistic that the target economic growth of 6.5 to 7.5 percent for the entire 2016 “would be met if not surpassed, at the rate these sectors are performing.”

DOLE urged to disclose results of SM probe

MILITANT youth group Samahan ng Progresibong Kabataan (SPARK) has urged the Labor Department to disclose its findings on the extent of contractual employment being exercised in the retail giant’s operations.
