How an unskilled construction worker earned six digit dollar income a year

By Rose de la Cruz

A hot and trending feature story from Australia’s Financial Observer narrated how an unskilled Filipino construction worker earned six digit dollar income a year right from his bedroom. The story is worth sharing here.

Armando Santos of Pasay City had to quit schooling after high school to support his parents and five other siblings by finding a job. He did find it easy, as a construction worker for two years. But when he discovered his income was not growing as fast as the cost of living, he started reflecting on other options.

"I worked tirelessly as an unskilled construction worker for 2 really tough years, after having to find employment quite quickly to help my mother and father. As months went by, it became more and more difficult to cover my costs, as the cost of living increased, while my wages stayed the same," he explained.

He had a strong drive to seek a better life for himself and his family and he wanted an income that would cover his expenses, provide him monthly savings and give him the means to travel outside the Philippines for the first time.

But with his finances not getting him too far, those dreams seemed almost impossible to reach.

He came across the idea of trading currencies online on the foreign exchange market. Thousands of Filipinos have started to enter the world of forex trading over the last few years, as global Forex education seminars have become popular across the islands.

He liked the idea as soon as he heard it. "I knew I had to find a new line of work. Or actually, a type of income stream that didn’t depend on me having to have a traditional job that takes years to build up a salary. When I met a friend of the family who introduced me to the world of forex, I realized that the answer was right in front of me," he said.

He recalled the numerous times he had to borrow money from friends just to pay for his small apartment near work. “I didn’t think I’d ever be able to change my path in life, but it actually happened.”

Forex trading

He then realized that forex trading was something people could do from anywhere in the world, and that it didn’t take all that much to get started. It was easier than he thought, though it did take a bit of time to learn the right system. He had doubts as it was almost too good to be true but when he read the testimonials with people similarly situated to him finding success with forex trading, he decided to sign up for a free training seminar and give it a try. That was 11 months ago.

Today, Santos is a well-respected member of his small community, earning a 6-figure US Dollar income a year, working from his bedroom computer while at home and even trading on his phone when travelling.

His life started changing almost immediately, from the first day he signed up for his trading account. I started seeing profitable forex trades within an hour or two and all of it was happening right in front of him from his computer screen, without having to even step out his front door.

Now he is able to support his parents, live in a comfortable home and it still blows his mind thinking how far he has come and what could still lie ahead.

He booked his first international trip ever to New York City, to visit Wall Street and he looks at guys doing exactly what he’s doing. The only difference is that they work for someone else while he doesn’t.

He is now more resolved to be in trading forex for the rest of his life as the future is bright.

His message

Anyone can learn how to trade forex online, he said, pointing out that in a country with high unemployment rate there should be more effort to educate and empower the young people, teach them skills to make a living.

Learn to Trade, a globally-renowned trading education company headed by professional trader, Greg Secker, is bringing their millionaire trader tour to the Philippines to introduce the world of forex trading to those looking to build a new income for themselves.

Headquartered in London with trading floors and offices in major markets around the world, the Learn to Trade organization has brought international trading techniques to the Philippines through a series of free Forex seminars across all three islands.

Seminar tickets are available for free to the public but only available on a first-come, first-served basis, as space is extremely limited.
