DA unveils interactive agri guide map app

IN HIS bid to properly guide and teach farmers on what appropriate crops to plant in their respective farms, Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol launched recently the so-called Interactive AMIA and National Color Coded Agricultural Guide Map in Malacanang Palace.

The launching of the program which will enable farmers and fishermen to obtain interactive data on things related to farming and fishing was personally witnessed by President Rodrigo Duterte.

The Philippine government's formal accession to the GATT-WTO was made possible by the ratification of the Philippine Senate of the GATT-UR in December 1994. 

Along with it, the government's commitments to the various agreements embodied in the Uruguay Round including the Agreement on Agriculture were made legally binding.

'Makapuno' seen to boost Alabat’s eco-tourism

STARTING this year, Alabat Island in Quezon, which is composed of three towns namely Alabat, Perez and Quezon, will be known as the first and sole “Makapuno Island” in the country.
