‘Twas an amazing 2017 for 2013 Miss International Bea Rose Santiago

 By Boy Villasanta

After the storm the sun shines.

This is true about actress and 2013 Miss International Bea Rose Santiago.

After her public spat with her father Paul Valencia Santiago whom she accused of abandoning her when she was just 10 but which  the man denied and clarified that it was his wife who betrayed her, Bea Rose is back in her element and is able to come to terms with the  harsh realities in life.

The years past had been very good to her, particularly 2017.

Here’s Bea Rose’s assessment of her life on and off camera.

“2017 was amazing for me. This was the year I got to play myself in ‘A Love To Last’ with Ian Veneracion and Bea Alonzo.

“I grew up watching them so it was surreal for me to be working with them. And of course, I got to play my dream role in ‘Laluna Sangre’!

“My day 1 in ‘LLS’ was with Angel Locsin and it was pretty awesome and to top that, my first ever bed scene was with Richard Gutierrez.

“Not just once but twice!

“’La Luna Sangre’ became a family and we are still very close most especially with my vampire squad.

“I got to play Katarina which is a dream!”

“Before ‘La Luna Sangre,’ I watched a lot of vampire and werewolves series and movies. A lot of them originals I watched like ‘Vampire Diaries’ and ‘Twilight’ but my most favorite is Bram Stoker’s 1992, ‘Dracula’!

“So in my head I tried to imitate Dracula’s bride Monica Bellucci but we couldn’t over do my character in ‘La Luna Sangre.’

“In 2018, I only wish for good health, good relationship with everyone I will meet and to have a forgiving heart.”
