ER Ejercito films SAF film to send PNoy to jail, Kris to a mental hospital

By Boy Villasanta

Action star and ex-Laguna Province Governor ER Ejercito is fuming mad anew on former President of the Philippines Benigno Aquino III.

When he paid his last respect to fellow actor Isabel Granada last week at the Arlington Memorial Chapels in Araneta Avenue in Quezon City, he once again threw invectives on Noynoy Aquino when asked about his latest film project.

“I am doing ‘SAF,’ ‘Special Action Force,’ the movie as this will surely send Noynoy Aquino to jail. I will expose every detail of the Mamasapano encounter where and when Aquino failed his duties and responsibilities as the Commander-in-Chief during his time,” angrily exclaimed Ejercito in the presence of movie reporters Alice Vergara, Elmer Antonio and Raymond Vargas.

Ejercito’s wife, Maita Sanchez, Pagsanjan, Laguna town mayor and her friend, Zeny Marcelo-Poe, common-law wife of the late Conrad Poe, were in a hush at the back of the chapel a few steps from where ER was.

“I know everything about the case,” said ER who has been a staunch critic of the past administration.

Ejercito said that he based the screen adaptation of the event on the Senate inquiry on the case.

Who is directing the film?

“At the moment, it’s still secret,” ER curtly replied.

“But I am co-directing it,” he added quickly.

Who is writing the script?

“There is one scriptwriter but I will also co-write the script with him,” he assured.

Ejercito’s loathing for Noynoy stemmed from his removal from office due to an electoral protest lodged against him for overspending during the gubernatorial elections in 2013 when he ran for the post.

The Commission on Elections found pieces of evidence to support the claim and ruled that ER be removed from office.

“The movie is very true to what happened,” said the actor.

Noynoy was recently indicted by the Sandiganbayan for graft and usurpation of authority in relation to the botched raid in Mamasapano that led to the death of 60 people including 44 members of the SAF. An arrest warrant was already signed by a judge to be served to Aquino but he, accompanied by his sisters, already posted bail late last week.

The civic group Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) filed the case against Aquino over its claim that the ex-president committed reckless imprudence resulting to multiple homicide.

According to ER, “Aquino will be in jail because of this truth which we are making into a movie.”

“This will also put Kris Aquino in the mental hospital,” Ejercito said.
